Commercial Storm Drain Installation in Little Rock, AR
This commercial stormwater management project required the installation of over 1,000 feet of drainage pipe and a 40-foot culvert system to control runoff throughout an entire storage facility development.
Before construction began, we calculated anticipated stormwater volume, drainage patterns, and pipe sizing requirements to ensure the system could efficiently handle heavy Arkansas rainfall events without flooding, erosion, or standing water.
Using laser grade control technology, we established precise elevations throughout the site to maintain proper flow rates and eliminate low spots that could restrict drainage performance. Every section of pipe was installed to engineered grade specifications to maximize long-term reliability.
The completed drainage network now collects, conveys, and redirects stormwater across the property, protecting the facility, access roads, and surrounding infrastructure while providing dependable performance during severe weather events.

Scupper Curb Grate Installation in Little Rock, AR
This property sits along the foothills of Little Rock, where shallow soils and underlying shale create significant stormwater runoff challenges. Heavy rainfall was causing severe erosion, washing away topsoil, damaging turf, and exposing the rocky subgrade beneath the property. Because the site lacked sufficient native soil depth for a traditional infiltration or leach system, an alternative drainage solution was required. After evaluating runoff volume, drainage patterns, and local site conditions, we designed and installed over 500 feet of storm drainage pipe connected to a custom junction structure and a cast-iron scupper curb grate that met municipal requirements. The completed system captures and safely conveys stormwater away from the property, preventing erosion, protecting the landscape, and providing a clean, code-compliant discharge point at the street.
Sump Pump Installation in Little Rock, AR
This homeowner was experiencing frequent flooding and standing water across their patio during heavy rain events. Water would collect faster than it could naturally drain, creating a persistent nuisance and increasing the risk of water intrusion into the home.
After evaluating the drainage area, runoff volume, and discharge requirements, we designed a custom drainage solution consisting of an open-grate catch basin connected to a high-capacity sump pump system.
The catch basin efficiently captures surface water before it can accumulate, while the sump pump rapidly removes collected water and discharges it to a safe location away from the home and patio.
By properly sizing the pump and drainage components based on expected stormwater volume, we were able to eliminate standing water and provide the homeowner with a reliable, long-term drainage solution.
City Storm Sewer Bore & Tap in Maumelle, AR
Following the installation of a retaining wall and engineered drainage system, runoff calculations showed that the volume of collected water exceeded what could safely be discharged within the property boundaries. To prevent future flooding and erosion, a permanent stormwater discharge solution was required.
Working closely with local permitting authorities, we obtained the necessary approvals and designed a municipal tie-in that met all city requirements. The project included a bore and tap connection, specialized concrete coring, sealed pipe penetrations, and installation of the appropriate stormwater conveyance infrastructure.
The completed system safely transports collected runoff directly into the municipal stormwater network, protecting the retaining wall, surrounding landscape, and neighboring properties while maintaining full compliance with local regulations.
This project demonstrates the importance of proper drainage design, permitting, and installation when managing large volumes of stormwater runoff.
