Retaining Wall Contractor for Cabot, Arkansas Clay Soil
Retaining Wall Installation for Drainage & Erosion Control in Cabot, Arkansas
Soil conditions in Cabot, Austin, Ward, Lonoke, and Vilonia are dominated by dense clay soils commonly found in farmland areas. This type of soil holds water, expands when wet, and creates significant pressure against retaining walls.
Because of this, retaining wall construction in these areas requires a completely different approach than in rocky terrain. Proper drainage systems, clean gravel backfill, and reinforced wall design are critical to preventing failure caused by water buildup and soil movement.
Unlike hillside construction in Little Rock, where natural rock provides stability and drainage, Cabot-area projects must be engineered to manage water and soil pressure from the ground up.
Our retaining walls over 5 feet in height are engineered for structural integrity and backed by a 10-year limited warranty, giving you peace of mind. We are a fully licensed, bonded, and insured, veteran-owned company with over 10 years of experience.
We proudly serve homeowners with these soil conditions in the Cabot, Searcy, Beebe, Vilonia, Austin, Ward, Lonoke and surrounding Central Arkansas areas.

Retaining Wall Installation in the Greystone Community of Cabot, AR | Drainage and Erosion Solutions
This Greystone property had a steep backyard slope that severely limited usable space and created ongoing erosion and drainage concerns.
To transform the property, we excavated approximately 5 feet into the hillside and constructed a reinforced retaining wall to create a larger, more functional backyard. Excavated material was redistributed to raise and reshape the lowest portion of the property while maintaining positive drainage.
We then constructed a second retaining wall to create a level playground area, graded and soil-conditioned the new lawn area, installed fresh sod, mulched the playground, and finished the landscape with oversized washed river rock.
The finished project transformed a steep, difficult-to-use slope into a level outdoor living space while controlling erosion and managing water runoff.

Retaining Wall Replacement in Cabot, AR | Fixing Failed Wall & Drainage Issues
This 120 foot long, 2 to 5 foot high retaining wall replacement in Cabot, AR was completed after demolishing a recently failed wall installed during a new home build. The original wall was not properly designed to handle the dense Arkansas clay soil, resulting in an 80-foot section collapsing within months.
Our team performed a full demolition and rebuilt the wall with a properly engineered base, integrated drainage system, and soil stabilization to prevent future failure and manage water pressure behind the wall.

Retaining Wall Installation in Austin, AR | Backyard Leveling & Drainage Solutions
This project involved a newly constructed home built on a steep slope, leading to severe drainage issues and long-term erosion concerns. Without proper grading and drainage control, water runoff would have continued to impact the foundation and yard stability.
Our team excavated the high side of the property by approximately 5 feet and redistributed the material to raise and stabilize the low side near the home. This created a balanced grade across the yard and eliminated uncontrolled water flow.
We then installed a 150-foot retaining wall system designed to support the elevation change while integrating a complete drainage solution to manage water behind the wall.
The final result transformed the sloped backyard into a level, usable outdoor space while preventing future erosion and drainage issues. The project was completed with a full drainage system and fresh sod installation to restore and enhance the property.

Retaining Wall Installation in Austin, AR
200-foot long, 4-foot tall retaining wall installation in Austin, AR designed to stabilize the home builder’s backfill and prevent ongoing erosion issues. This project included a fully integrated drainage system to manage water runoff and relieve pressure behind the wall, ensuring long-term structural integrity in Arkansas clay soil conditions.
